This great CD by Scotty Bullock & The Stampeders (founded in 1998 in South Germany) has been one of the top albums of the year 1999. The dutch Rock 'n' Roll magazine "Boppin' Around" voted the trio's original track "Rockin' & Ramblin" as best song of the year, as well as the complete album as no.3! Musically you can listen from Desperate Rock & Roll to 50's Rockabilly to Hillbilly influenced songs! Unfortunatelly the combo disbanded some years ago. Bandleader Scotty Schober also lived in the USA for many years (where he played with the "Swing Rays"). Nowadays he's playing in the "Sunny Bottom Boys"! (also available from RootsCD!).
