After the 1st studio album Feels Like A Million (2006) and de live album Catch That Swingtrain (2007) recorded during the Moulin Blues Festival Ospel, is this new Phonics album Little A Lot a logical continuation!
100% self written songs. The lyrics are written by frontman and bluesharp player Stephan Hermsen. Number 10, Do-Rack is written by guitarist Huub Goosen. The music is from The Electrophonics, a group of enthusiastic men who like to play this retro swing-jump-rhythm & blues music.
The gigs in the Netherlands and in other countries, gave the Electrophonics inspiration to make this swing music. Especially in combination with the always present audience, the nice words in press and reviews, the airplay at radio stations and the contact with stage promoters!
The Electrophonics want to thank you!!
With your support, this band is what it is right now: a steaming swing-train, still rollin’….and rollin’!
As Jerry Hall (producer of James Harman, Little Charlie, BB & The Blues Shacks) wrote about this CD: "This band plays the West Coast style of blues just right-swingin and groovin' and not a lot of frills-just the real feel the way it should be played.
This music would have folks dancing anywhere they played."
“…Their thing? Jump & swing and really well done. Meanwhile we’ve seen these guys performing a few time and they keep on amazing us with their know-how and passionately performance…” Jean Bervoets, Back To The Roots magazine, july 2007:
