It was 1993 when the five doo wop addicted guys were looking for an echo, an answer to their sound...and they finally found it - for seven exciting years. Their career (kind of) brought them to countless gigs in Germany and abroad. For example to the „Stadtpark“ in Hamburg, where they supported the Flying Pickets (of „Only You“ fame), various gigs at Hamburgs rock..n..roll venue „Knust“ and to many Rock..n..Roll/rockabilly festivals all over Europe! And not to forget all the private Celebrations like marriages, birthdays and so on... Beneath the live performances the Chotalls did a couple of recordings. First of all the Diva Records CD „Sh Bop A Zing A Zoom Zoom“ in 1995. 12 tracks recorded in one and a half days. Then there are three recordings for the Crystal Ball anniversary albums, the CB Christmas album and the CB Halloween album. They also appeared on the Spanish doo wop/acappella compilations Hip..n..Hop in Harmony Volume 1 and 2.
