For more than 20 years now, the Cadcatz have been on the road with Rock’n’Roll and Rockabilly, and have made a name for themselves through many gigs at clubs and festivals throughout Europe as well as through a number of CD releases. They present Rockabilly, Rock 'n' Roll as well as Surf instrumentals in the sound of the 50s and early 60s. They are still well-known from the 1993 CD "Rockabilly Party", especially in Augsburg (Germany), where their "Your baby tonight" from the 1989 EP "Many Miles" became a local hit which was played by many Augsburg radio stations every hour. Their latest CD, "The Drifter", contains 13 previously unreleased songs, 8 of which were recorded for the CD in 1999 - including one live track - and 5 songs which were recorded as early as in 1995. On this CD the band mixes Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly and Surf for the first time. Apart from typical Rockbilly/Rock'n'Roll tunes that have been characteristic for the Cadcatz, the new CD also contains Surf instrumentals as they are known, for example, from the movie "Pulp Fiction".
