Estonian slide guitarist, songwriter & official Walden Guitars artist Andres Roots is best known for his work with acclaimed alt.blues trio Bullfrog Brown. "Roundabout", his first full-length solo release, features 12 self-penned tracks & an international all-star cast - Eric Gebhardt (USA), Bottleneck John (Sweden), Dave Arcari (Scotland) & Black River Bluesman (Finland) handle the vocals, the 2009 World Harmonica Festival bronze Jantso Jokelin (Finland) provides harp, etc.
Instrumentation-wise, this CD has everything: from 1-string diddley bow to beatboxing, from didgeridoo to church organ. The 1st single, "Redecoration Day", went straight to number 1 on Estonian national television's Eesti Top7 chart in June 2010 & spent more than three months in the Top 3. "Thru The Valley" & "Watcha Do" followed, securing airplay from the UK to South Africa & the US. Produced by Asko-Romé Altsoo & Andres Roots, the album itself was released on Roots Art Records on November 17th, 2010.
