The correct prices for any items displayed on this website are shown in £British Pound Sterling. You can also view approximate prices in US Dollars, Euros, Canadian Dollars & Australian Dollars by clicking on the relevant flag at the top of each page. A note about currency conversions: These are approximate rates to help our overseas customers. You may not be charged exactly the rate shown in the conversion when you check-out. Your credit card company or Paypal (whichever you use), will use their own exchange rate for your transaction. These rates can change on a daily basis. What happens when I place an order?
When you place an order to purchase a product from rootscd.com, we will send you an e-mail (automatically generated) confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. If any items are out of stock when you place an order, we will contact you to let you know when we will have them available again and offer to refund the full price of the order to you.
You sell some old titles, are they second-hand?
All of the products that we sell are brand new, most are shrink wrapped, some are not. Because most of our stock comes direct from the artists themselves, we depend on them to supply us with sealed or shrink wrapped items. We keep a good depth of older titles and the latest releases, these items are new and unplayed. We do not sell second hand or previously used items through this on-line store.
The music player doesn't work
Our music players require you to have Adobe Flash 7 upwards installed on your computer to work correctly. Get the latest version of Flash for free from here.

All of our transactions are processed by Paypal although you do not need to be a registered Paypal user to pay us by credit or debit card. You will be given the option at checkout to sign-in and pay by Paypal if you wish.

My item has been shipped but has not arrived
By Standard UK Mail
We can usually expect items sent by Standard Mail within the UK to arrive within 2 to 5 days from shipment. However, if after 10 days from the shipping date the parcel has not arrived, please contact us with confirmation of your shipping address and we will take action to trace your order and arrange a replacement if necessary. We always strive to get your order to you as soon as possible, but delivery is in the hands of the postal service who sometimes do not meet their expected delivery times and from time to time go on strike!

By Standard Airmail
We expect Airmail deliveries to reach most destinations within 6 to 10 days. However, if after 21 days the parcel has not arrived, please contact us with confirmation of your shipping address. We always strive to get your order to you as soon as possible, but delivery is in the hands of the postal service who sometimes do not meet their expected delivery times!
If the details provided are all correct, we can declare the item lost and issue a replacement order to you.

Can I return an incorrect or damaged item?
Please contact us first! We accept returns on defective, damaged and mis-shipped products only. We will exchange the product or issue you a credit or refund whichever you prefer. Sorry, but we do not accept returns on non-defective product that has been opened simply because you do not like it.
You must contact us for an authorization of your return prior to sending product back. We reserve the right to refuse any return that is sent back without authorization.
When we receive your returned item we will e-mail you to let you know.

What if I incur customs charges?
We're sorry, but if any customs charges are incurred when your item enters your country, these are completely beyond our control, it is your responsibility to pay them and not rootscd.com. We hate them too!
